Hydraulic Industrial Power Unit
The hydraulic industrial power unit is a compact solution designed for the vertical transportation applications for goods lifts, cargo platforms and stackers commonly used to vertically move material in the industry. Designed to work in continuous duty with consistent performance, the low noise HIPU is available in different sizes to meet demanding applications.

The compact aluminium tank provides protection against oxidation and allows the unit to be placed on mobile platforms providing much needed flexibility.
The unit can also be made in Mild steel or Stainless-steel tanks if required. The unique design has improved mobility and is maintenance free.
The control valve type KV from Blain Hydraulics guarantees:
- Reliable, trouble-free operation with build in damping during UP & DOWN start providing excellent ride quality for handling of fragile goods
- Smooth acceleration and deceleration during UP and DOWN travel
- Integrated self-cleaning filters and built in safety’s like emergency manual lowering (optional: electrical lowering using battery)
- Integrated pressure relief valve, front facing adjustments, hardened anodised valve housing for 20+ years of trouble-free operation
- Easy to adjust down speed control for superior performance and travel characteristics during the complete life-cycle of the product
- Travel speed up to 0.16 m/s (32 fpm) in both UP and DOWN directions
- Availability of ports for integrating external pressure switches and pressure gauges giving additional flexibility unlike in any other control valve
- Low pressure losses and unique design – designed especially for flow control in the vertical transportation application – USP over industrial valves
